In celebration of The University of Akron’s Sesquicentennial, University Libraries at The University of Akron, in partnership with the Cummings Center for the History of Psychology, compiled a comprehensive timeline of its history, dating back to the founding of the libraries in 1871. This online exhibit traces the history of University Libraries at The University of Akron through the years and is organized by decade. It highlights the milestones in our history that helped us achieve our mission of providing resources, services, and expertise to support and enhance teaching, learning, and research.
