Dr. Nghi Tran and Dr. Arjuna Madanayake received an award to explore STEM Education topics on Embedded Systems Security, from the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The University of Akron sub-award component is worth $360,000. The total award is $600,000, and is led by Tennessee State University.

Dr. Arjuna Madanayake and collaborator Dr. Renato Cintra secured a 1-year project titled “Multi-Beam RF Aperture Arrays using Multiplierless Approximate FFT” from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The project is sponsored by the Microsystems Technology Office (MTO).
