DARPA MIDAS Proposers Day

Arjuna Madanayake and Viduneth Ariyarathna attended DARPA Microsystems Technology Office (MTO) Proposer’s Day on the mm-wave digital arrays (MIDAS) program.

A poster titled “Analog Approximate-FFT Multibeam Algorithms, Architectures and Space-Time Noise Shaping Circuits for mmW Arrays” was presented. Co-authors include Arjuna Madanayake, Viduneth Ariyarathna, Nilan Udayanga, Diego Coelho (University of Calgary), Leonid Belostotski (University of Calgary), Renato Cintra (UFPE), Soumyajit Mandal (CWRU), Jifu Liang (CWRU), Yingying Wang (CWRU) and Vishal Saxena (University of Idaho).

Two papers at IEEE IMS’2018

Two papers have been accepted for publication at IEEE 2018 International Microwave Symposium (IMS).

  1. An 8-Beam 2.4 GHz Digital Array Receiver Based on a Fast Multiplierless Spatial DFT Approximation, Vitor Countinho, Viduneth Ariyarathna, Diego Coelho, Renato Cintra, and Arjuna Madanayake.
  2. A 16-Element 2.4-GHz Digital Array Receiver using 2-D IIR Spatially-Bandpass Plane-Wave Filter, Sravan Pulipati, Viduneth Ariyarathna and Arjuna Madanayake.
