contributed to the Brooklyn 5G Summit 2018 at the invitation of NYU-Wireless Founding Director Professor Ted Rappaport. A 32-beam receiver demo was implemented and showcased by UA students.

The paper titled “Analog Approximate-FFT 8/16-Beam Algorithms, Architectures and CMOS Circuits for 5G Beamforming MIMO Transceivers” has been accepted for publication. Many congratulations to co-authors Viduneth Ariyarathna, Leo Belostotski, Soumyajit Mandal, Xinyao Tang, Renato Cintra, Arjuna Madanayake and Ted Rappaport. The paper will appear in IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems (JETCAS).
Professor Shubhendu Bhardwaj from Florida International University (FIU) gave an invited talk titled “Skewed World of Plasma-wave Modeling: Challenges and Solutions using Unconditionally Stable FDTD Methods”.
The paper titled “Real-Time 2-D FIR Trapezoidal Digital Filters for 2.4 GHz Aperture Receiver Applications” has been accepted at IEEE MerCon 2018.
