Another user is not satisfied with the provided conferencing system, so sets up a meeting at home using Skype. With the exploding number of choices available to end users throughout the organization, are IT policies and their enforcement becoming a myth? Come to discuss the travails of rogue users and what your peers are doing about them.

ITEE MEETING: November 12, 2010

Next ITEE Meeting will discuss the topic:

Assimilating Mobile and Consumer Devices into the IT Infrastructure

With Androids and iPhones, Blackberries, iPads, and the next wave of tablet computers lurking in the shadows, IT departments are racing to accommodate the demands of executives down the line to plug these devices into the corporate infrastructure. While presenting security and other challenges, they also represent an opportunity for “mobilizing” enterprise applications. This ITEE session will be devoted to discussing the implications of the new wave of mobile and consumer devices. Share your experiences and learn from the experiences of your peers in this discussion led by George Mehok, CIO at Revol Wireless.  Please visit the IT Executive Exchange page for details.
