Staff members from Instructional Technology Support will present training on CPS “clicker” technology (AKA audience or classroom response system) on Thursday, June 2 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Leigh Hall 414.
Participants will be introduced to the methods and pedagogy behind classroom response systems, including use in classes and for special events and training. Research, including research conducted at UA, has demonstrated that clickers increase student engagement and have a positive effect on learning. Reporting and grade book options will also be discussed. Clicker and receiver sets will be distributed to interested users, and assistance with installation and implementation can be scheduled.
