Courses for Spring 2012 have been brought in to Springboard. Instructors – now would be a great time to request that your Spring courses be combined! You can request course merges by sending an email to springboardhelp@uakron.edu. Please be sure to include the course number (1234:567-890, for example) for each course that you would like to have combined.

Is it recommended to combine courses if you teach multiple sections of the same course? I can see the benefit of not having to post assignments and materials multiple times to different classes, but will the class rosters remain separate for grading?
Hi Amy,
Yes, we definitely recommend combining courses if you teach multiple sections of the same course. When the courses are combined, each individual section exists in the combined course as a group. While all students appear in the Classlist and Grades tool, you can view by Groups, and filter to a specific group (section).
