For Fall 2011, we are pleased to announce that we will be upgrading to Desire2Learn (Springboard) Version 9.4 on Saturday, October 29. Version 9.4 includes new features and improvements, including:
- Expanded notification functionality, including SMS messaging.
- Subscribe to updates from News and Dropbox availability.
- Redesigned Calendar tool.
- Link your social networking profiles to your Springboard profile.
- Improved interface for leaving feedback in Dropbox.
In order to install the upgrade, Springboard will be unavailable on October 29th. Updates will be posted here on the Springboard blog.
I appreciate your desire to give us the latest and greatest, please consider making upgrades on other days of the week. For us nonconventional students, Saturdays and Sundays are the only days we can catch a couple hours (between kids and full-time jobs) to do our online classwork. Today I was planning a 3-hour block to do a quiz and was unable to do it. I was not online earlier in the week and did not see your announcement. Now it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to find 3 hours before the quiz is due Sunday at midnight.
