(1) List your judicial experience (courts and years):
Elected in 2012, on 01/01/2013 began the term, thus 5 years, 3 months
and 3 days of experience (5.33).

(2) What about your non-judicial legal experience quali×es you to be a
judge?
Bar admission 2003, Guardian ad Litem Training in 2003, solo
practitioner 2003-2005; 2005-2012, one of the founding partners of
Bartos & Rini LPA which focused on Juvenile and Family Law. At age 40,
i attended law school to specifically practice Juvenile Law. Though after
sitting for 5+ years, no experience can properly prepare a person. It is
humbling.

(3) Why are you running for this particular court seat?
The Juvenile Division is the most important Court since it is the one
that can truly make a difference in the lives of the youth and families
that come before the judges. Juvenile Court hears Private Custody,
Child Support, Abuse Neglect, Dependency, Delinquencies and Traffic
matters.
If we can keep a family together, or provide a youth with an education
and vocational experience to stop the cycle of incarceration and/or
involvement with Children and Family Services, we have broken the
cycle. Teenagers are interesting in their egocentric thoughts and trying
to convince a youth why their education is paramount is an interesting
and somewhat amusing proposition. Juvenile Court has success stories
and it is amazing when the parents can provide for the basic needs and
raise their children in an environment that permits proper
development.
