(3) Why are you running for this particular court seat?
To use my 8+ years of experience as Probate/Juvenile Judge to continue to protect children, seniors, and families in Geauga County; to continue to give Geauga residents a return on their investment in the training and experience I have obtained as Probate/Juvenile Court Judge; and to continue to respectfully represent Geauga County to other judges statewide and nationally. As Judge, I have issued over 20,000 orders and judgments with less than .001 reversal rate; am Supreme Court qualified to rule on capital cases; have been recognized by the Ohio Association of Juvenile Court Judges (OAJCJ) for my judicious handling of the 2012 Chardon High School shooting case; have been appointed by Chief Justice O’Connor to hear cases in Ashtabula and Lake Counties; and implement innovative, effective services for Geauga County residents.
