Excellent practice-oriented opportunities – not to be missed.
We still have several spaces open in the following clinics. Students who take the clinics routinely report that they are the best experiences in law school. Imagine, representing real clients. You can do it!
Civil Litigation Clinic:
The Civil Litigation Clinic gives you the opportunity to represent real clients. You will interview clients, conduct factual investigations, negotiate and represent the clients in court. For the spring semester, the clinic will be involved in a project to assist Bhutanese refugees with ongoing landlord-tenant issues. The clinic will continue to represent low-income clients referred from legal aid. If you are interested in the clinic, please contact Professor Joann Sahl, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Unfilled externships for spring semester exist with the following entities: Summit County Children Services Board; Stark County Prosecutor’s Office; the International Institute and Summit County Prosecutor’s Office. If you are interested in one of these opportunities, please email Professor Gary Spring, email@example.com. by December 23, 2013.
