Great opportunity to earn pro bono hours and gain legal experience!

Several local attorneys are seeking law students to review materials received per a State public records act request. The materials to be reviewed are DVDs of law enforcement activities. The review is to determine whether any of the materials portray violations of  law. The attorneys, Edward L Gilbert, Robert Fowler, and emeritus Professor J. Dean Carro are seeking students who have completed their first year of studies. The review will be done at Attorney Gilbert’s office at One Cascade Plaza, Suite 825, National City Ctr., Akron, OH 44308.That location is downtown off of Main street. His phone number is 330-376-8855 and his e-mail is egilbert@edwardlgilbert.com. If you are interested in this work please contact Attorney Gilbert. There are approximately 20 DVDs each of which will take about one hour to review. You can commit to as much or as little work as you would like. You will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. This is a pro bono activity and as a result there is no pay involved. Hours worked will count toward your general pro bono requirement.

The attorneys would like to have this work done in the next several weeks, but certainly before September 2015.
