There are still a few spots available in the DR Court Clinic for both Summer and Fall for students interested in this unique opportunity to develop civil litigation skills. You get to handle the cases yourself, under the direction and supervision of a practicing attorney, developing legal skills of client counseling and argumentation that are invaluable to building your legal skill set and attracting future employers.

Students must be eligible for their State of Ohio Internship Certificate, which requires completion of 58 credits. Students must also have taken Family Law, Juvenile Law, or Family Law Practicum, or have other related family law experience such as clerking in a family law practice. If interested, contact Professor Tracy Thomas at thomast@uakron.edu for approval and registration.
