AkronLawJobs No. 8999 Overview: Seeking an intern for the summer to work with Assistant Prosecutors in the civil division on multiple types of law.
Duties: Research, motion drafting, and the opportunity to observe mediations and hearings.
Qualifications: 1L, 2L, 3L. Some legal experience is good, especially in civil or county government, but not necessary.
Work Hours: Ideally an intern would be available for 10-15 hours per week during office hours of 8-4.
Compensation: The internship is unpaid, but students are eligible for pro bono service hours. May also be eligible for the Public Interest Law stipend or for externship credit through Akron Law.
