Commencement Regalia

If you plan to march at commencement, and have not yet purchased your regalia – please do so as soon as possible. Regalia can be purchased at the Polsky Bookstore.

If you intend to borrow regalia, you must turn in the hood to Anthony Colucci in the Dean’s Office no later than April 23rd with your name attached.

Grad Fair SAVE THE DATE

ATTN: December 2009 Graduates and May 2010 Candidates

  • Who: Representatives from Herff Jones (Cap & Gown*, etc. See attachment), Career Planning (Exit Interview information), Law Student Services (Q&A, paperwork checks), Law External Programs (Class Gift), and  Me (General Ceremony Q&A).
  • What: “Grad Fair 2010” – One-stop shopping for all your Graduation needs.
  • Where: Law School Atrium, just outside the front desk.
  • When: Wednesday, March 24th, from 2:30-6:30pm (You can come and go anytime during these hours.)
  • Why: You will be able to purchase your Regalia* (Cap & Gown), and have all of your questions answered on the spot.

Keeper unit with keeper tam – $76.98
Hood – $41.98
Total – $118.98

If you wish to borrow any part of this, you may only borrow from a 2009 Akron Law graduate, and you must notify me of any parts you are borrowing. Borrowed HOODS must be turned into my office by April 23rd for distribution on stage at Commencement.

Graduation Application Deadline for Spring 2010 Extended to October 4, 2009

Good News!  The graduation application deadline for students planning to graduate at the end of the Spring 2010 has been extended to October 4, 2009.

Law students will be able to use the Graduation Services link in the “Quick Links for Students” section of ZipLine for step-by-step instructions for applying for graduation.  Questions and comments are always welcome and may be directed to the Office of the University Registrar at 330-972-8300 or registrar@uakron.edu.
