Submission Guidelines

The Journal seeks manuscripts based in history, archaeology, or anthropology. Interdisciplinary work is encouraged as is work addressing public history issues such as local history, oral history, or preservation. The time period is open but the main focus should be on the Northeast Ohio region.

Authors are asked to submit three double-spaced copies of their manuscript, which should not exceed twenty pages, excluding notes. Use 1″ margins, 12-point font (preferably Times New Roman). Notes should be double-spaced at the end and be in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style. Manuscripts are sent to a referee for review before a publication decision is made. When a manuscript is accepted, the author will be asked to supply a disk (3 1/2″ Microsoft Word) with final revisions.

Manuscripts can not be under consideration elsewhere. Include a title page with the author’s name, address, phone number and e-mail address. No other identification should appear in the text. Number all pages consecutively after the title page.
