About this site: UA Live — a companion to the E-mail Digest — allows us to tell stories in greater detail and with a broader range of media: photos, video and sound. Generally, announcements about campus events will continue to appear in the Digest, while more in-depth stories about UA and its terrific people will appear here. New posts on UA Live will be summarized in the E-mail Digest.

UA Live is a communication vehicle established for the benefit of The University of Akron. Items will be accepted for publication only when the University is directly involved in the activity through participation, sponsorship or partnership with one of its recognized organizations, colleges or departments. The University reserves the right to edit or to refuse to run any submission for any reason. UA Live is not, nor is it intended to be, a public forum or a limited public forum.
