This time, though, we had some time and energy to explore the city. Our first night,\u00a0I had my first\u00a0<em>full spice<\/em> Thai meal\u2014definitely an unforgettable one! We searched out some authentic street food, and despite choosing the mildest looking noodles, I was shocked when my eyes automatically watered from the heat! We rewarded ourselves with uniquely flavored gelato from the mall after finishing our noodles.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1871 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/adventures-abroad\/files\/2016\/06\/IMG_2242-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2242\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1867\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/adventures-abroad\/files\/2016\/06\/IMG_2212-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2212\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After exploring the mall a little longer, I got my first traditional Thai massage. It was incredible! It&#8217;s an ancient tradition and art, and it really makes your entire body feel better. It has been known to improve\u00a0asthma and headaches, among other ailments. Your entire body is connected, so working out knots and triggering pressure points can affect any and all parts\u00a0of your body.
