He is currently a Research Engineer with The Qatar Research Foundation. His research interests include alternative energy systems, as well as control of stand-alone and utility interactive energy systems.<\/p>\n

\"AmirAmir Mehdi Pasdar<\/strong>\u00a0received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2014.<\/p>\n

He is currently working at Co-Ax Technologies.\u00a0 His main research interests include Smart sensor for power grids, real time high frequency impedance modelling of the power network and next generation smart grid applications.<\/p>\n

Md. Nayeem Arafat<\/strong> received his PhD <\/strong>degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2014. He is currently working at AC Propulsion. His research interests include single\/three-phase inverter control, power quality improvement of utility-connected inverter systems, grid-connected boost-type inverters, and distributed power generation systems.<\/p>\n

\"wasi\"\u00a0Mohammad Wasi Uddin\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2016.\u00a0 <\/strong>He is currently working at Schaeffler Group. His area of interests are renewable energy systems, design and control of electric machines – particularly Switched Reluctance Machines.<\/p>\n

\"badawy_3\"Moham<\/strong>ed Badawy<\/strong>\u00a0received his received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2016.\u00a0 <\/strong>He is currently an Assistant Professor at Saint Jose State University. His research interests are renewable energy grid interfacing systems and power electronics for advanced electric vehicles.<\/p>\n

\"FatihFatih Ci<\/strong>ngoz<\/strong>\u00a0received received his received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2016.\u00a0 He is currently working at Doosan Fuel Cells. His research interests are micro-grid and renewable energy resources.<\/p>\n

\"Burak2\"Burak Tek<\/strong>gun<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2016.\u00a0He is currently an Assistant Professor at Abdullah Gul University.\u00a0 His research interests include core loss measurements and modeling, motor design, control, wide band gap devices and inverters.<\/p>\n

\"aparna\"Aparna Sah<\/strong>a<\/strong>\u00a0received his received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2017. <\/strong>She is currently working at Nexteer Automotive.\u00a0<\/strong>Her research interest includes the design, modeling and control of multilevel inverters.<\/p>\n

\"Iftekhar\"Iftekhar<\/strong>\u00a0Hasan<\/strong>\u00a0received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2017.<\/p>\n

He is currently working at Rivian Automotive.\u00a0 His research interest includes design, modeling and control of electric machines.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Elham Pazouki\u00a0<\/strong>received her PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2018. She is currently working at Rockwell Automation.Her research interests are fault diagnosis of power converters and electric motor drives, fault tolerant control methods, multilevel dc\/dc converters\u00a0and\u00a0their\u00a0applications in EV\/HEV.<\/p>\n

Farzad\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Ahmadi<\/strong> received his received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2018. <\/strong>He\u00a0is currently working\u00a0 as an Assitant Professor at Younstown State University .\u00a0<\/strong>His research interest includes the Analysis and design of electromagnetic systems and electric machines.<\/p>\n

Sam Mahmodicherati\u00a0<\/strong>received his received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2016. <\/strong>He\u00a0is currently working\u00a0 at Rockwell Automation.\u00a0<\/strong>His research interest includes the modeling and control of Motor Drives and Energy Systems.<\/p>\n

Yu Zou\u00a0<\/strong>received his PhD<\/strong>\u00a0degree from the University of Akron\u00a0 in 2013. He\u00a0is currently working\u00a0 as an Associate Professor at Saginaw Valley University.\u00a0His research interest includes the modeling and control of motor drives and renewable energy systems.<\/p>\n

\"Anik Chowdhury<\/strong>\u00a0received his Bachelors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on March 2016. He joined the University of Akron on Fall 2017. His research interests are in electrical machine design and energy systems. He loves to travel and play soccer during the leisure time.<\/p>\n
