Summer Research Experiences for Undergraduate (REU) programs


We, the Georgia Tech College of Sciences, wanted to personally invite undergraduate biology, chemistry, biochemistry, math, STEM, and physics majors to apply for our various summer Research Experiences for Undergraduate (REU) programs. Programs are 10 weeks in duration and program dates vary depending on the adviser and the program selected.

Program participants will receive stipends of $4,500 to $5,000, a travel allowance, and housing. Participants must be US citizens or permanent residents of the US.  In addition to full time research, students are assigned a mentor, participate in a number of professional development seminars, site visits to scientific companies/government labs, and social activities with fellow students and other REU groups on the Georgia Tech campus. 

Please note: THE APPLICATION DEADLINES VARY (February 15th or March 1st). Please check each individual program.
