My PhD work focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms of organic solar cell operation using dynamic Monte Carlo simulation methods. In particular, I am working to develop new models to describe exciton dissociation and charge recombination behavior in polymer:fullerene devices. As secondary interests, I have worked on optical modeling for structural color and studied wetting behavior of nanostructured surfaces.
