This year&#8217;s Challenge is CITY SHAPER, during which teams will choose and solve a real-world problem in the Innovation Project. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;MINDSTORMS<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/education\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/107\/2019\/10\/City-Shaper-LEGO-1024x538-1024x538.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-955\" width=\"299\" height=\"157\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The first event is a <strong>Tournament Tune-up and Rally<\/strong> to help teams get ready for the big event in December.  The CITY SHAPER Tournament Tune-up is scheduled for <strong>Saturday, November 2<\/strong>, from 12:00-3:00 pm in Zook Hall on the UA campus.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdYksRHty-t5tMuMVjMXkxz3S6jTqHukbHXZrj-cg38GqrA1w\/viewform\">Register your team<\/a> for this FREE tune-up event.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The FLL and Jr. FLL Northeast Ohio District Tournament will be held on Saturday, December 14, in the Jean Hower Taber Student Union.  Teams will put their engineering, problem solving, computer programming and teamwork skills to the test and their robots maneuver to solve a real-world problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers are also needed for Tournament day.
