Main Purpose: To help science-oriented doctoral students of psychology with the costs of research.
Benefits:
- 30-40 grants of $1,000 each
- Several larger $5,000 grants
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate student in psychology at an accredited college university in The United States or Canada
- In good standing with their university
- Full-time student or working on dissertation research for an equivalent of full-time enrollment (regardless of actual registration status)
- Student affiliate or associate member of The American Psychological Association
- Dissertation proposal approved by dissertation committee
- May not have received a previous APA Dissertation Research Award
