Main Purpose: To provide full-time research training for pre-doctoral researchers and to promote diversity in health-related research including the biomedical and behavioral sciences. Students from diverse racial and ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

- Support for research training leading to a Ph.D., combined M.D./Ph.D., or other combined degree in the biomedical or behavioral sciences
Time Limit: up to five years
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be an individual with a disability, from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, or from a disadvantaged background
- Must be pursuing an advanced degree in the biomedical and behavioral sciences
- Must hold a baccalaureate degree
- Must be currently enrolled in a doctoral program
- Must be U.S. citizen, non-citizen national, or lawfully admitted permanent resident
