Areas that will receive special consideration include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpersonal violence<\/li>\n<li>Marriage equality<\/li>\n<li>Immigration reform<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong> &#8220;Funding up to $1000 is available for graduate student research if proposals are accompanied by evidence of a request for appropriate university official agreement to match the amount requested.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a member of The Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues\u00a0(SPSSI)<\/li>\n<li>Students may submit a joint application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Link and Additional Information: <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spssi.org\/index.cfm?fuseaction=page.viewpage&amp;pageid=730\" target=\"_blank\">click here<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>This grant is awarded twice per year. Spring Deadline is May 15th annually.
