This award is based on a review of a single published paper of original work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$1,000 check<\/li>\n<li>Complementary registration \u00a0for the BMES 2015 Annual Meeting<\/li>\n<li>The opportunity to present the\u00a020-minute Rita Schaffer Young Investigator Lecture at the meeting and\u00a0publish the text of the lecture in the <em>Annals of Biomedical Engineering<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Travel Expenses up to $1,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be within 5 years of earning highest degree<\/li>\n<li>The recipient must be the senior author of the paper.
