\nElected in 2012, on 01\/01\/2013 began the term, thus 5 years, 3 months
\nand 3 days of experience (5.33).<\/p>\n

(2) What about your non-judicial legal experience quali\u00d7es you to be a<\/strong>
\njudge?<\/strong>
\nBar admission 2003, Guardian ad Litem Training in 2003, solo
\npractitioner 2003-2005; 2005-2012, one of the founding partners of
\nBartos & Rini LPA which focused on Juvenile and Family Law. At age 40,
\ni attended law school to specifically practice Juvenile Law. Though after
\nsitting for 5+ years, no experience can properly prepare a person. It is
\nhumbling.<\/p>\n

(3) Why are you running for this particular court seat?<\/strong>
\nThe Juvenile Division is the most important Court since it is the one
\nthat can truly make a difference in the lives of the youth and families
\nthat come before the judges. Juvenile Court hears Private Custody,
\nChild Support, Abuse Neglect, Dependency, Delinquencies and Traffic
\nmatters.
\nIf we can keep a family together, or provide a youth with an education
\nand vocational experience to stop the cycle of incarceration and\/or
\ninvolvement with Children and Family Services, we have broken the
\ncycle. Teenagers are interesting in their egocentric thoughts and trying
\nto convince a youth why their education is paramount is an interesting
\nand somewhat amusing proposition. Juvenile Court has success stories
\nand it is amazing when the parents can provide for the basic needs and
\nraise their children in an environment that permits proper
\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
