{"id":10438,"date":"2012-05-04T14:17:59","date_gmt":"2012-05-04T19:17:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/?p=10438"},"modified":"2012-05-04T14:17:59","modified_gmt":"2012-05-04T19:17:59","slug":"2012-pan-ohio-hope-ride-community-service-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/2012\/05\/04\/2012-pan-ohio-hope-ride-community-service-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"2012 Pan Ohio Hope Ride &#8211; Community Service Opportunity!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2012 Pan Ohio Hope Ride- From Cleveland to Cincinnati<\/p>\n<p>We are less than 12 weeks away and we are gearing up for our last recruitment push and moving in to logistics &amp; volunteer recruitment\/management!<\/p>\n<p>April updates include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<strong>392 riders, 16 virtual participants and 49 teams \u2013 We are at more than 75% capacity<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<strong>97% of the riders signed up are Four-Day Riders!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<strong>16 States are represented and 2 riders from Saudi Arabia<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Volunteer Recruitment Campaign is currently underway &#8211;<strong> we will need close to 1,000 volunteers!<\/strong> \u00a0Send any interested volunteers to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.panohiohoperide.org\/\">http:\/\/www.panohiohoperide.org<\/a> to sign up.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Rider Fundraising is <strong>at $169,560 which is $23,000 more than last<\/strong> year at this time!<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Our final registration promotion is now running: <strong>Any rider who is signed up by May 15 will be entered in to a raffle<\/strong> for an Official POHR Merchandise Kit<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The 2012 Preliminary Route is almost finished being designed. \u00a0In the next few days we will be emailing out the route information to the Staff and Volunteers and shortly thereafter publishing it for the riders to see some of the exciting new additions to our course<\/li>\n<li>In April we had <strong>six Networking Events across the state<\/strong> that were all successful with many new faces showing up. \u00a0We also had our<strong> first ever events in Toledo and Akron, <\/strong>which<strong> <\/strong>were both very well attended!<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The <strong>fourth annual Research Rally<\/strong> will be taking place in Cleveland on Saturday, May 12. \u00a0For more details please visit the POHR website. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2012 Pan Ohio Hope Ride- From Cleveland to Cincinnati We are less than 12 weeks away and we are gearing up for our last recruitment push and moving in to logistics &amp; volunteer recruitment\/management!
