Eligible applicants must be women who<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide the primary financial support for their families (including children, spouse, siblings, and\/or parents)<\/li>\n<li>Have financial need<\/li>\n<li>Are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational\/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program<\/li>\n<li>Reside in one of Soroptimist International of the Americas&#8217; member countries\/territories (of which the U.S. is one)<\/li>\n<li>Have not previously been the recipient of a Soroptimist Women&#8217;s Opportunity Award; are not a Soroptimist member, employee or immediate family of either<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For an application form, please e-mail Adam Messner at apm@uakron.edu or Shirley Howes at showes@neo.rr.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Admissions recently received notification that Soroptimist International is now accepting applications for the Women&#8217;s Opportunity Awards.
