Akron Law Student Bar Association will be hosting a kick-it tournament on October 27,\u00a0 from 12:00 to 4:00 at Buchtel Fields. Kick-It was founded by a 10-year old cancer patient with a big dream- to cure cancer by playing kickball. Now a national fundraising program, Kick-it raises money for pediatric, adolescent and young adult cancer research. Funds raised benefit children’s cancer research across the country. Kick-it partners with national medical advisory boards to identify the most promising research studies and projects.<\/p>\n
Sign up sheets will be posted outside of the SBA office.\u00a0 There is a $10 per player fee and this money will go to the kick-it organization in order to continue funding cancer research.\u00a0 We welcome everyone to come out and showcase your kickball skills!\u00a0 Food and drinks will be provided.\u00a0 We encourage you to bring a friend, and organize a team with clever law related names.\u00a0 A few classic teams from the past have been the Tortfeasors and Uncivil procedures.
