The Office of Career Planning &amp; Placement, in conjunction with The Akron Bar Association Liaison Committee, invites you to participate in the <strong>Lawyer to Law Student Mentor Program<\/strong>. This program pairs second year University of Akron Law students with local lawyers for the purposes of assisting law students in beginning the transition from law school to law practice, through a one-on-one relationship with practicing attorneys.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0To participate in the 2013 Lawyer-to-Law Student Mentoring Program:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a01-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0you must attend one of the <strong>MANDATORY <\/strong>Mentor Program Training Sessions: <strong>Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 12:20 OR Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 5:15.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a02-\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You must turn in a Mentor Program application, including the short answer questions, to the Career Planning Office by <strong>Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 12 noon. <\/strong>Mentor Program applications are available in the CPPO and online at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uakron.edu\/law\/career\/docs\/2012-13-Mentee-Application.pdf\">https:\/\/www.uakron.edu\/law\/career\/docs\/2012-13-Mentee-Application.pdf<\/a>.
