{"id":14826,"date":"2013-05-15T10:15:18","date_gmt":"2013-05-15T14:15:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/?p=14826"},"modified":"2013-05-15T10:15:18","modified_gmt":"2013-05-15T14:15:18","slug":"expungement-clinic-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/2013\/05\/15\/expungement-clinic-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Expungement Clinic UPDATE!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Expungement Clinic seeking student volunteers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Expungement Clinic helps low-income Akron residents seal the record of their criminal convictions.\u00a0 A sealed record enables many people better access to jobs, housing, and volunteer opportunities.\u00a0 Students will learn integral skills in the legal field including filing paperwork with the court, drafting motions, interviewing real clients, and communicating with clients both through the mail and over the phone.
