Legal Drafting: Law Practice<\/span><\/b> (Professor McBurney)<\/b><\/p>\n Tuesdays 6:40 – 7:40 P.M.<\/strong><\/p>\n This course covers some of the key instruments that you will be drafting in the actual practice of law.\u00a0 Students will begin on a simulated case by drafting a research memo.\u00a0 From there, students will draft a client advice letter, and a demand letter or response.\u00a0 The case will culminate with a settlement negotiation, the results of which students will memorialize in a settlement agreement.\u00a0 The course will also cover related topics such as email drafting and etiquette, oral presentation of research, and client counseling.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The course information is located at:\u00a0http:\/\/www.uakron.edu\/law\/curriculum\/registration.dot Legal Drafting: Law Practice (Professor McBurney) Tuesdays 6:40 – 7:40 P.M.
