{"id":19270,"date":"2014-03-17T10:14:06","date_gmt":"2014-03-17T14:14:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/?p=19270"},"modified":"2014-03-17T10:14:06","modified_gmt":"2014-03-17T14:14:06","slug":"great-summer-opportunity-for-jdmba-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/2014\/03\/17\/great-summer-opportunity-for-jdmba-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Great summer opportunity for JD\/MBA Students!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EDGE is <b><i>seeking self-motivated students that are interested in paid internship helping companies explore new business ideas.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b>The <b>Summer EDGE Fellows Program<\/b> offers a <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.edgef.org\/for-students\/your-summer-experience\/\">Great Summer Experience<\/a> <\/b>in real-world consulting that allows participants to apply their knowledge to real-world business situations, to network with Northeast Ohio business leaders, to work with like-minded driven students, and to pave the way for connections that may lead to jobs following graduation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open to graduate students (all disciplines) as well as rising seniors and non-traditional students.<\/li>\n<li>Strong candidates must communicate very well both verbally and in writing, be inquisitive and self-starters.<\/li>\n<li>This is a 40-hour-per-week internship, which pays $5,600 (from the end of May through the end of July).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EDGE has 16 &#8211; 18 positions to fill for 2014 (coming from any school), and this is a competitive process.\u00a0 Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.<\/p>\n<p>We<b> <\/b>invite you to check out a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edgef.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/EDGE-Fellows-Summary-Summer-2013.pdf\">Summary of 2013 EDGE Fellows Program<\/a> and consider <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edgef.org\/students\/learn-more\/application\/\">applying online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Questions?
