{"id":23237,"date":"2014-10-30T08:24:24","date_gmt":"2014-10-30T12:24:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/?p=23237"},"modified":"2014-10-30T08:24:24","modified_gmt":"2014-10-30T12:24:24","slug":"2015-law-office-of-steven-fritsch-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/2014\/10\/30\/2015-law-office-of-steven-fritsch-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"2015 Law Office of Steven Fritsch Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To support the pursuit of excellence in family law, we have created the <strong><em>2015 Law Office of Steven Fritsch Scholarship<\/em><\/strong>; it will help a graduate as she or he pursues a legal career and will be an advocate for children or a spouse.<\/p>\n<p>The $1,000 scholarship will partially defray first-year expenses for a student who has been accepted into an accredited law school in California or anywhere in the United States for enrollment in the fall of 2015.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany of our clients are focused on pursuing their education, when re-establishing themselves after a divorce or custody case,\u201d said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oceansidedivorcelawfirm.com\/attorneys\/\">Steven Fritsch<\/a>, founder, Law Office of Steven Fritsch. \u201cOur scholarship is designed to support a student who has experienced the impact of marital dissolution and is inspired to secure a brighter future for her or his clients,\u201d added Fritsch, who is a family law attorney in practice for more than 12 years.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must submit the following by July 27<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup>, 2015:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A completed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oceansidedivorcelawfirm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/fritsch-Application-Form.pdf\">Scholarship Application Form<\/a><\/li>\n<li>One to three (1-3) page typed essay describing the personal experience that inspired them to enter law school and study family law.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited college and an official and complete copy of undergraduate transcripts, with minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA<\/li>\n<li>An acceptance letter from an accredited law school within the United States for Fall 2015<\/li>\n<li>Proof of legal residency in the United States (i.e., birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Award:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Law Office of Steven L. Fritsch Scholarship is to be used exclusively for law school tuition and related expenses.<\/li>\n<li>A check for $1,000 will be made payable to the award recipient\u2019s law school to cover these expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Scholarship applications may be mailed to<br \/>\nSteven Fritsch;<br \/>\nLaw Office of Steven L.
