The scholarship intends to support law students intending to pursue public interest law and add to the ranks of motivated young attorneys willing to consider a career as a public interest lawyer. The firm <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davislevin.com\/in-the-news\/double-winners-awarded-social-justice-scholarship\/\">awarded two $3,000 scholarships in 2014<\/a> after finding two extremely worth applicants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recipient is a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States<\/li>\n<li>Recipient is accepted, and will be attending law school in the fall of the same year following the application<\/li>\n<li>Academic achievement as reflected by an undergraduate cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A completed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davislevin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/2015-DLL-Application-Form.pdf\">Scholarship Application Form<\/a><\/li>\n<li>One to three (1-3) page typed essay<\/li>\n<li>Recipient must have a stated intention of pursuing a legal career in public interest law.<\/li>\n<li>An official and complete copy of undergraduate college transcripts<\/li>\n<li>An acceptance letter from an accredited law school within the United States<\/li>\n<li>Proof of legal residency in the U.S. (i.e., birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Award<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Davis Levin Livingston scholarship is to be used exclusively for law school tuition and related expenses.<\/li>\n<li>A check for $3,000 will be made payable to the award recipient\u2019s law school to cover these expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Davis Levin Livingston Scholarship award recipient will be notified of the selection on or about August 3, 2015.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Completed applications must be submitted no later than July 15, 2015.
