The Columbus, Ohio-based law firm of Kegler, Brown, Hill + Ritter is offering two first-year law students, who are members of historically underrepresented populations, each a $5,000 scholarship, plus a paid summer clerkship position with our 2015 first-year class. <\/p>\n
Our Diversity Scholarship is awarded annually based on demonstrated academic performance, accomplishments and activities. <\/p>\n
Those interested in being considered should submit the following materials no later than January 16, 2015:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Cover Page including name, address, phone number, e-mail address and underrepresented population status
\n\u2022 Resume
\n\u2022 Undergraduate Transcripts
\n\u2022 First Semester Transcripts when available
\n\u2022 Completed Application Questions (Please keep each response to one typed page):
\n1. Describe a major accomplishment that has shaped your life, how it influenced your
\n2. decision to pursue a career in law and prepared you for your future as a lawyer.
\n3. Explain what diversity means to you.
\n4. List any training and\/or experience you believe to be relevant to this clerkship.
\n5. Discuss why you have applied for this scholarship<\/p>\n
