PLUS proof of current membership in the Bar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>GS-11 Level \u2013<\/strong> ALL requirements for the GS-9 PLUS one of the following:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1.\u00a0 One year of substantial professional legal experience; (or)<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 A second Professional Law Degree (LL.M.), which requires one full year of graduate study.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 The First Professional Law Degree provided the applicant\u2019s records to reflect superior law student work or activities as demonstrated by one of the following:<\/p>\n<p>A.\u00a0 Academic standing in the upper third of the law school graduating class as reflected in a copy of their transcripts (Must submit transcript).<\/p>\n<p>B.\u00a0 OR work or achievement of significance on the law school\u2019s official law review.<\/p>\n<p>C.\u00a0 OR special high level honor for academic excellence in law school, such as election to the Order of the Coif, OR winning of a moot court competition, OR membership on the moot court team which represents the law school in competition with other law schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0D.\u00a0 OR full-time or continuous participation in a legal aid program as opposed to a one-time, intermittent, or casual participation.<\/p>\n<p>E.\u00a0 OR significant law office clerk experience.<\/p>\n<p>F.\u00a0 OR other equivalent evidence of superior achievements.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>GS-12 Level &#8211;<\/strong> GS-11 requirements PLUS one year of professional legal experience equivalent to the GS-11 Level.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT:<\/strong> Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.\u00a0 Applicants will be required to complete Form I-9 and present proof of identity and employment eligibility if selected.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>SELECTIVE SERVICE REQUIREMENT:<\/strong> Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 will be required to certify their selective service registration.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>APPLICATION PROCEDURES (HOW TO APPLY):<\/strong> Applicants who wish to be considered for these positions should submit:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0OF-612, &#8220;Optional Application for Federal Employment&#8221;, OR a detailed Resume.
