\u00a0<\/strong>Prior Experience<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to First Amendment issues.\u00a0 Preference will be given to those applicants with demonstrated involvement in scholarship or employment that promotes civil rights.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Computer<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Westlaw, Internet research<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Written<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Applicant must be able to communicate effectively in writing to both legal and non-legal audiences. Applicant must be familiar with traditional legal forms of writing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Primary:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Intern will oversee the Region\u2019s Summer Associate Program and will engage in local legal research projects.<\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Secondary<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Perform non-legal research duties as necessary to support the work of the Civil Rights Division.<\/p>\n
