Hello Akron Law Students!<\/p>\n
If you haven\u2019t heard, the Student Bar Association (SBA) is hosting its first Regional Kickball tournament this Saturday, September 19th in support of the Kick-it for the Cure Foundation. The event is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM that day and will be held at the softball field on Akron\u2019s campus.
\nThis event is very important for three reasons:<\/p>\n
1) The money we raise from the tournament will be donated to children\u2019s cancer research;<\/p>\n
2) It allows Akron Law students and faculty to come together; and<\/p>\n
3) It will allow us to mingle with students from other schools, as both Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and Case Western Reserve University School of Law are bringing teams.<\/p>\n
We now call upon each of you to help make this event great! Here are some of the ways you can get involved:<\/p>\n
\u2022 By joining a kickball team; or \u2022 By donating at the Akron Law Kick-it table (you\u2019ll see SBA leaders at this table while it is set up in the student lounge at various time throughout the week); or Hello Akron Law Students!
