A Fortune 200 company, its subsidiaries and affiliates are involved in the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, as well as energy management and other energy-related services.\u00a0 Its seven electric utility operating companies comprise the nation&#8217;s fifth largest investor-owned electric system, based on serving 4.5 million customers served within a 36,100-square-mile area of Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey; and its generation subsidiaries control more than 14,000 megawatts of capacity.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>About the Opening<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Law Clerk works in FirstEnergy\u2019s Corporate Headquarters located in Akron, Ohio.\u00a0 The Law Clerk conducts legal research as assigned by attorneys and analyzes research data such as statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes and documents.\u00a0 This position involves legal writing, assistance with litigation matters and regulatory filings with occasional delivering and filing of legal documents.\u00a0 The Law Clerk checks legal forms and documents for accuracy, organizes and tracks case files and monitors new or updated regulations.
