Buckingham 101 – Food and casual conversation starting @ 6 PM<\/p>\n

Every year, a few foolhardy souls never get around to writing any MPT essays until the morning of the first day of the bar exam.\u00a0 That doesn\u2019t usually end well.\u00a0 Take advantage of the opportunity to write an MPT essay under exam conditions before February 23 (or July 26 – for those of you taking the July bar exam).<\/p>\n

Essential Legal Concepts<\/span><\/h3>\n

Akron Law’s free ESSENTIAL LEGAL CONCEPTS (ELC) <\/b>workshop series is designed\u00a0to help prepare you for the upcoming bar exams. \u00a0The workshops will help you understand\u00a0what to expect from the bar exam and will provide you with essential skills needed to effectively study for the Ohio Bar exam. \u00a0It is being\u00a0taught by Adjunct Professor Joann Leong, a judicial clerk in the 9th District Court of Appeals. \u00a0Professor Leong\u00a0has also worked reviewing essays for BarBri, and as a private bar tutor, for several years.<\/p>\n

Akron Law strongly encourages your enrollment in this workshop. \u00a0It is not designed to replace any bar exam preparation course you are taking, but rather as\u00a0a supplement.<\/p>\n

The remaining two workshops will\u00a0be\u00a0held on the following days from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m in L-301.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
