All 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0Year Full-Time &\u00a0Part-Time Students: \u00a0those who began law school in Fall 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you plan to take\u00a0<\/strong>the Ohio Bar Exam,<\/strong>\u00a0your\u00a0<\/strong>first application, the Application to Register as a Candidate for Admission<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>must be\u00a0received<\/u>\u00a0<\/strong>in the\u00a0Office of Bar Admissions at the Supreme Court of Ohio<\/a>\u00a0by<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>November 15, 2016<\/u><\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here is\u00a0a short video<\/a> (about 1 minute) on what you need to do for this first application:\u00a02L First Application for Ohio Bar Admissions<\/a><\/p>\n

Law Student Services will provide:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0<\/strong>The \u201cCertificate of Dean\u201d that is prepared by Student Services to include with your application.\u00a0\u00a0Please complete the information \u00a0<\/em>here<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0by<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>September\u00a019, 2016<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>to request that a Certificate of Dean be prepared for you.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

(2) An official fingerprint card \u2013 you will need to make an appointment to get fingerprinted \u2013 information will be on a memo with the card.<\/p>\n

What you need to do now:<\/strong><\/p>\n

(3) Request a hard copy of your transcript<\/strong> from your undergrad institution to be sent to you to include with your application.<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0Plan to attend<\/strong>\u00a0the Bar Admissions Workshop on Thursday, September 1, from 5:15 – 6:15 pm<\/strong> in the Goodyear Auditorium, Room 229 in the Polymer Building (the building just east of the law school). \u00a0The Director of the Ohio Supreme Court Office of Bar Admissions will tell you how to complete your application and answer your questions.<\/p>\n
