We had to update the Law 1 student printer on\u00a0Monday September 26th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Anyone who has it installed will have to reinstall again.\u00a0 Below are instructions on reinstalling the printer.<\/p>\n

PC<\/u><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. You must be connected to rootown or Roo-Secure<\/li>\n
  2. Go to\u00a0http:\/\/uauniprint2.uanet.edu\/uniprint<\/li>\n
  3. Click on the \u201cPackages\u201dtab<\/li>\n
  4. Click on the particular printer that you want to install<\/li>\n
  5. If prompted, click on \u201cRun\u201d<\/li>\n
  6. If prompted, click on \u201cYes\u201d to allow the program to make changes on your computer.<\/li>\n
  7. Click on the Install button.\u00a0 Installation may take a couple of minutes<\/li>\n
  8. Once the installation is finished, click on the finish button.<\/li>\n
  9. Your print job will show up at the release station.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Mac<\/u><\/p>\n

    1. Open System Preferences<\/li>\n
    2. Open Print & Fax<\/li>\n
    3. Click on the + (plus) sign to add a new printer<\/li>\n
    4. At the top of this dialog be sure IP Printer is selected and then apply the following settings:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Protocol: Line Printer Daemon – LPD
      \nAddress: uauniprint2.uanet.edu<\/p>\n

      Queue: NAME OF PRINTER YOU WISH TO ADD (look below for name)
      \nName: SOMETHING DESCRIPTIVE
      \nLocation: SOMTHING DESCRIPTIVE
      \nPrint Using: Select Printer Software\u00a0 Be sure to select the appropriate printer\u00a0driver for the printer you are connecting to.<\/p>\n
