1st opportunity to get an early start for the February 2018 bar exam!**<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Join either the Thursday afternoon (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM) or the Saturday morning (10:30 – 12:30) study group in L-325.<\/p>\n

On the agenda this week:<\/p>\n

Creating a custom study schedule<\/strong><\/span>. \u00a0Once the formal bar prep period starts, your bar vendor will provide you with a detailed study schedule. \u00a0If you know you won’t be able to devote full time to studying for the bar exam during those 9 weeks, \u00a0you’re mostly on your own to create a schedule. \u00a0ASP has a tool, and guidelines, to help you plan – and keep yourself\u00a0accountable.<\/p>\n

Writing a response to Ohio Bar Exam question 6\u00a0from the February 2011 exam<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0It is a standard\u00a0contract formation question, ending with an auction question (fairly common). \u00a0You can find the question on the\u00a0Supreme Court website<\/a>\u00a0(bottom drop-down box), or on Akron’s Early Start Bar Prep site (let me know if you want access – it has\u00a0the question of the week + access to multiple choice questions from past bar exams and other resources).<\/p>\n

Informal Q&A about bar prep courses<\/span>.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0There are some good deals currently available – IF you are able to make an informed decision in the very near future. \u00a0These deals are not so good, however, if you get locked into a course that you later decide isn’t the best course\u00a0for you. \u00a0I’ll hang around at the end of the session in case you have questions that I can answer about how to match your learning styles with the available options.<\/p>\n

**You are invited to join the group whether whether you are studying for the February 2018 bar exam, or the July 2020 exam, although it is probably most appropriate if you are planning to take a bar exam in the next year.<\/p>\n
