LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">Applicants for the scholarship can be submitted by any law student, college student, or high school student who is presently or will be interning at a public defender office during the school year or upcoming summer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">A student aid report showing income status of your household must be attached for application to be considered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">A transcript must be attached with counselor or school representative signature for application to be considered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">This scholarship is a one time scholarships worth $1000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">Although not required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and\/or resumes to substantiate their application. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">This scholarship is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/kgdefenselaw.com\/scholarship-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/kgdefenselaw.com\/scholarship-application\/<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This scholarship is judged primarily on applicant\u2019s commitment to indigent defense work and financial need, but does not exclude achievement standards.
