{"id":50943,"date":"2017-11-03T00:09:33","date_gmt":"2017-11-03T04:09:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/?p=50943"},"modified":"2017-11-03T00:09:33","modified_gmt":"2017-11-03T04:09:33","slug":"alumni-panel-discussion-on-the-bar-exam-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.uakron.edu\/law\/2017\/11\/03\/alumni-panel-discussion-on-the-bar-exam-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Alumni Panel Discussion on the Bar Exam"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">Alumni Panel Discussion on the Bar Exam\u00a0 \u00a07:15 &#8211; 9:30 &#8211; Thursday, November 9, 2017 in room L-140.<\/h3>\n<p>The ALA class invites anyone who expects to take the February bar exam to join it for a panel discussion.\u00a0 Famly members are welcome, if you&#8217;d like to help them understand the marathon\u00a0you&#8217;re about to start!<\/p>\n<p>The panelists will share their experiences in preparing for the bar exam, taking the bar exam, and waiting for the results.\u00a0 The students have a variety of experiences:\u00a0 vendor selection (Barbri, Kaplan, Themis, and Adaptibar); working during bar prep (not at all, part time, or full time),\u00a0 Exam (February v. July), courses taken (most of the bar track courses &#8211; or so not many),\u00a0and success (passed on the first try &#8211; or\u00a0took two tries).\u00a0 There will be time for Q&amp;A during and after the discussion.<\/p>\n<p>Panelists include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brittany Michael &#8217;14<\/li>\n<li>Rich Freeman &#8217;16<\/li>\n<li>Ivan Petrovic (Fall) &#8217;16<\/li>\n<li>Danielle Halachoff &#8217;17 (who will not yet be sworn in as of the panel discussion!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please let me know if\u00a0you plan\u00a0to attend so I can move the discussion to a larger room, if need be.\u00a0 nlr22@uakron.edu<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alumni Panel Discussion on the Bar Exam\u00a0 \u00a07:15 &#8211; 9:30 &#8211; Thursday, November 9, 2017 in room L-140.
