Volunteers are requested as follows:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Check-In and Welcome \u2013 11:00am \u2013 12:00 pm:<\/em><\/strong><em> One or two students are needed to assist with check-in of our guests. This will involve distributing information packets, shaking hands, smiling, and being friendly.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0Library Tours \u2013 12:30 pm \u2013 1:30 pm:<\/em><\/strong><em> Several students are needed to guide\u00a0library tours. You will be stationed at the information desk in the library where you will offer to give tours to admitted students as they enter the library. If you have never given a tour before, don\u2019t worry \u2013 I will provide you with notes to help you along. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Akron Law Points of Interest Stations 12:30 -1:30pm:<\/strong>\u00a0Several students are needed to assist at the Akron Law Points of Interest Stations that will be positioned throughout the law school. Students will assist the Clinic, Academic Success, Career Planning and other offices with the dissemination of material and discuss their experiences with admitted students. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>If you are available to help, please e-mail Ivy Washington-Marshall (&#8217;09)(<a href=\"mailto:ikw1@uakron.edu\">ikw1@uakron.edu<\/a>) at your earliest opportunity.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Admissions Office has historically received a tremendous amount of support from the student body for our events.
