In 2016, distracted driving was responsible for nearly 14,000 crashes in Ohio.\u00a0This is simply unacceptable. <a href=\"https:\/\/tittlelawfirm.com\/our-firm\/community\/scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">With your help, we want to bring attention to this serious issue.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>How Does it Work?\u00a0<\/strong>It\u2019s easy! Students will submit a 750-1500 word essay that addresses three points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How Big is the Problem of Distracted Driving in Your Peer Group?<\/li>\n<li>What is a Specific Example of Distracted Driving You\u2019ve Seen?<\/li>\n<li>How Can the Issue of Distracted Driving Be Addressed?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are looking for essays that best address each of the three points listed above.<\/p>\n<p>To enter, here\u2019s what you need to do:<br \/>\n\u2013 Write your 750-1500 Word Essay on Distracted Driving<br \/>\n\u2013 Send the following to kaylee@tittlelawfirm.com:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Microsoft Word Document of your Essay<\/li>\n<li>Your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number<\/li>\n<li>The school you will be enrolling in or are enrolled in<\/li>\n<li>Your area of study<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who is Eligible? <\/strong>High school seniors accepted to a university, college, or trade school, or students currently enrolled in a university, college, or trade school (or enrolled to begin by the Fall semester of 2018).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Winners: <\/strong>A FIRST and SECOND place winner will be chosen by Tittle &amp; Perlmuter. Prize amounts are as follows:<br \/>\nFirst Place \u2013 $1000<br \/>\nSecond Place \u2013 $500<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline: <\/strong>Entries must be submitted by August 1st, 2018. The winner will be announced on August 10th, 2018.
