The Foundation will award two-year Justice for All Fellowships to outstanding recent law school graduates with a passion for public service. The Foundation supports fellowship projects which address unmet civil legal needs facing low-income individuals and families in Ohio. Each fellow must work together with an Ohio host organization to develop a proposed project.<\/p>\n<p>Fellows will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and up to $6,000 in annual educational loan repayment assistance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION TIMELINE<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Monday, October 1, 2018<\/strong><br \/>\nApplication is due to the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation by 5 p.m. EDT<\/p>\n<p><strong>November 2018<\/strong><br \/>\nInterviews for selected candidates<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, December 14, 2018<\/strong><br \/>\nFellowships announced<\/p>\n<p><strong>September 2019<\/strong><br \/>\n2019 fellowships begin<\/p>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><br \/>\nThose submitting an application for the 2019 Justice for All Fellowships must meet the following requirements:<br \/>\n\u2022 You must be a third-year law student or a recent law school graduate who demonstrates a commitment to public interest law.<br \/>\n\u2022 You must be eligible and agree to take the Ohio bar examination in the summer of 2019; OR, be admitted to practice law in Ohio; OR, be licensed in another state and eligible for temporary admission before taking the Ohio bar examination.<br \/>\n\u2022 You must identify an Ohio organization to serve as your host organization and full-time employer during the fellowship term. Together with your host organization, you will propose a project that will allow you to use your legal skills to address civil legal needs faced by low-income individuals and families throughout Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are available in the Career Services Office and electronic applications are available via email through Dean O&#8217;Brien and Assistant Director Bencze.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation is seeking applications for the 2019 Justice for All Fellowship.
